He is found unconscious by Guts' New Party. Puck then begins to heal him telling him not to move or it wouldn't work properly. Serpico bandages him, Morgan then thanks them all for saving his life. Serpico then asks him what happened. He tells him he was attacked by trolls. There was a group of five of them, they all them were. Serpico then asks whether is he from around here. He tells him they're about a hour away from his village and it's possible for him to go back alone with his wounds. He tells them he is terribly ashamed to go back to his village like this, and there is a place he must absolutely reach. He then introduces himself as Morgan from Enoch Village. As Serpico begins to carry him on his back. He tells them they don't get many visitors around here, because there's always been so many elves and trolls. It is a story told by story tellers and parents to their children. Actually there were people who said they saw it, but there isn't any proof. Even though people spread the legend, not many of them believed it until that fatal night. Isidro then questions his words. Morgan tells him at the beginning of winter, a pack of trolls appeared outside his village. It was as if they escaped from a story, they stepped from the darkness. It was as if their world completey changed after that night. Everything built before us was reduced to ruins. They didn't just destroy farms, or attack cattle. They also kidnapped women and children. Because of the fight with Kushans, the people are being crushed in taxes. In a poor village like Enoch Village it was much worse than before all the winters calamities have been crushing their will.

When at Enoch Village, he gives Isidro a small pirate cutlass, better suited to the dashing fighting style exhibited by the boy and his diminutive stature, sharing with him his childhood dreams about traveling the world, and how in fact he rarely left his home. Isidro is then spurned to double his efforts, promising the old man that at least he will able to carry on every bit of his childhood dreams to adult life.
