Isma is a young fishing girl who lives by the outskirts of the village on an island that holds the Sea God.
Isma has short hair with long bangs that will cover half her face at times. Her eyes are much rounder that that of and average person and has a few frekkals on her nose.
She claims that her father was courting a merrow but admits that she is all human, dispite this she can still fish as good as any other merrow and Schierke saw a strange aquatic od/ aura around her. It was because of this and the story of the merrow sealing the Sea God on the island that she now lives on, the people of the village shun her and so she decided to move to the outskirts of town.
Voyage to Elfhelm
When guts and his party made their way to the Sea Gods island, Isma noticed them from a distance as she was fishing. Later when Isidro went off exploring, Isma found him about to enter the cave but she warns that the Sea God slumbers their. Isidro then slips on a rock and loses his dagger so Isma offers to treat him at her house. It is there were Isidro tells her all about his adventures, (while stretching the truth a bit), but are soon interupted buy Schierke who returns the dagger back to Ishidro and then notices the mysterious od around Isma. Isma then explains that her mother was a merrow as told from her father on his death bed and that one day she'll come back for her. She also goes on to explain why she left the village and that lately they don't seem to be acting human anymore. Schierke then gets a message from Guts and starts to hed off to the village but Isma offers to be her guide as traveling at night is dangerous. They then show up only to sea the village being infested by the Sea Gods many tentecles trying to eat Guts and company.
Isma's od/aura
