Story[]
Fantasia Arc[]
He is first seen accompanying Theuene and Kukka discussing about the humans, wondering whether they are pirates.[6] Once Schierke uses a spell to quell the scarecrows warding a magic pumpkin patch, he points at her magic using.[7] When Molda unleashes a wicker man which is subsequiently defeated, its fire spreading, he laments about the loss of the pumpkins he worked with. As Isidro offers him some roasted pumpkin, he notices Puck. On the way to the mage settlement, he introduces himself to the newcomers alongside the other witches.[1] He, Kukka, Theuene, Molda and Gedfring accompany the outsiders across the mage settlement[8] and Elfhelm.[9] During the banquet held at Elfhelm, Iony is one of the young male mages that listen to Isidro's adventures alongside some elves and living mushrooms.[10]
After Casca is healed once the Corridor of Dreams ritual is over, he is one of the young magic users attending a lecture from Gedfring, who asks Farnese and Schierke to demonstrate their magical skills. As Farnese casts the Formation of the Four, Iony notes that it took him three years to master the summon. During Schierke's turn, she summons a dark spirit who takes the apple Iony was eating as a "bounty of the land" in exchange for being summoned. Thus, the boy is briefly covered in shadows until the spirit consumes the fruit.[2] Later on, he is among the magic users who observe Kukka's attempts at teaching Schierke how to fly with a broom.[2] He is also seen as one of the mages who witness Isidro's pranks on the witches and whisked away once the boy is subdued.[11]
Iony is among Skellig's magic population that is evacuated from the island's destruction.[12] Later on, he is seen during the Kushan boarding of the Seahorse.[13] The morning after, he is seen awaiting for Schierke's luminous body to return to her body and, later on, he is seen in the streets of the Kushan capital as a qliphoth arises.[5]
