"Assassination" (暗殺 Ansatsu?) is the ninth episode of the Berserk 1997 anime adaptation. The episode covers episode 8 to the first pages of episode 10 from the manga.
Overview
Griffith and the Princess are growing closer during the hunt. Suddenly, Griffith is shot in the chest with a poisoned arrow. The arrow strikes his Beherit, however, and he is unharmed. Griffith finds that Julius is behind the plot, and sends Guts to kill him.
